Teaching Blocks

OLD BLOCK

The old Teaching Block, inter alia, includes four air-conditioned class-rooms which are fully equipped with modern teaching aids i.e. audio visual facilities, public address system etc. Classrooms are big enough with seating capacity ranging between 30-50 officers per class respectively. Thus equipped, DOT is in a position to manage (with regulated intervals) four concurrent courses for a sizeable number of (hundred and thirty) trainees including officers, inspectors and other staff.

NEW BLOCK

This block has recently been completed which consists of two air-conditioned class rooms fully equipped with modern teaching aids i.e. audio visual facilities, public address system etc. Each classroom has a seating capacity of 24 per class. These class rooms have been designed to train the senior officers of the department and trainees from the foreign countries as has recently been requested by the Central Asian Republics and Afghan Revenue Authority. One such international course for brotherly Muslim countries has already been conducted in May 2005.
