Besides its principal office at Lahore, the Directorate
General has two Regional Directorates: one for Northern Region at
Islamabad and the other for Southern Region at Karachi.
Each one of these offices has been placed under an
Director whose main responsibility is to plan
and regulate training courses for the benefit of
regional staff including Inspectors, AOs, supervisors,
UDCs and LDCs. Plans are in the pipeline for expansion
of Regional Directorate's functions to include in-service-training
of senior assessing officers through SPSCs (Special
Purpose Short Courses), periodical workshops and
seminars.
