Amna Faiz Bhatty has been posted in the Directorate since July 2006 . She  was selected to this post through the process of Internal Job Posting (IJP) initiated by the Central Board of Revenue for recruitment to specified jobs.

 She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Quaid-e- Azam University  , Islamabad and secured 1^st position in the University . She did her Bachelors from Kinnaird  College , Lahore in 1991 in Economics and Statistics. She secured  Chancellor’s Gold Medal in M.B.A. and Silver Medals both in F.S.C and H.S.C (Matriculation exam).

 She stared her career as a banker with Atlas B.O.T  Investment Bank in Lahore in 1993. She qualified for the Civil Service Examination  in 1994 and joined the Income Tax Group in 1996.  Since  1998 she has served in various capacities in the field.  In 2002 she was the part of  a team trained by the Human Resource Wing (C.B.R)  to develop   Job Descriptions of officers  and officials of C.B.R. In recognition of her services she was awarded a certificate and  cash  reward by the H.R.M wing.  She was amongst the first eight officers selected for  the  Large Taxpayer’s  Unit (LTU) Lahore  in September 2004.

 Her present assignment is Deputy Director (Research & Training) responsible for coordinating the undergoing training programs and research initiatives. She also assists in teaching  Civil Service Laws  and other topics  to the probationary officers as well as to mid career capacity building programs of officials.
